What techniques/effects are used to make average singers sound really good?
March 9th, 2010 | by admin |I’ve always noticed that these r&b and hip hop singers sound like they’re singing at different pitches at the same time. Like layered on top of one another. What software or effects create this sound? I mean for example, r&b singer the dream, guy sounds like an entire choir of people singing in harmony…but he’s only one dude. So lame how anyone can sound like a million bucks now a days.
Have you ever listened to a group and loved the way they sound and then go to a concert and think they only sound ok? that would be the recording studio tweaking things so they sound better.
