Do you know any American singers who were around during the WW2?
March 1st, 2010 | by admin |I want to know of any working singers during the time of the second world war, any information/ links would also be appreciated. And please do not just repeat answers. Thanks in advance.
Glenn Miller (I guess he was a composer, not a singer). He disappeared in a plane in 1944 while serving with the Army Air Forces.

How about Ella Fitzgerald. She started in around 1935 and her solo career began in 1942.
