New Kid In Town – Eagles – Guitar with fills

March 3rd, 2010 | by admin |

Here’s a one-guitar version of New Kid in Town by the Eagles. Very fun song to play because it has lots of fills and riffs that take you beyond basic chords.

This song is performed by the Eagles with multiple guitars – both acoustic and electric. This is a simple arrangement for one acoustic guitar and a singer. I’ve taken some parts from tab books and arranged other parts (the hard ones) into a simpler arrangement.

You can just strum the chords, then you can add the riffs and fills one-by-one as you learn them. I realize I played this way too fast. Slow down and it will be a bit easier!

Please note – this is a GUITAR video, not a singer video. My singing is in the video for timing purposes only. Listen at your own risk.

I tabbed it out and it’s available here: http://home.comcast.net/~badguitar/site/

Duration : 0:4:16

Thanks for the comment. I first learned the song from a book. Go to Amazon and search ISBN 0897243986. Great book if you’re an Eagles fan. This arrangement is a 1-guitar version (simplified).
