This is the vocal audition for the Velvet Revolver search for a new lead singer sung by LA based singer, recording artist Lorenzo. Click here to see Lo singing Patience: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUt80F75Vdk Lorenzo was sent an instrumental track by VR’s management company that was performed by Slash, Duff and Matt, with instructions for Lorenzo to write lyrics, record vocals and return the new audio track to the management company for consideration by VR to fill the position as new lead singer for the band.     I remember reading …
    I remember reading on the VR forums a while back with either Matt Sorum or Duff McKagan replying to this guy. They said he’s pretty good but his lyrics sounded sort of generic and needed some more in depth work.

    vocals sound a bit too modern, don’t make VR a modern rock band, let ‘em keep rocking old style.
    But still, so far this is the best audition I’ve heard on youtube. Sounds very Scott like.

    Simply amazing …
    Simply amazing vocals. This guy can do just as great as Weiland, if not better. In my opinion, he should be the new singer, hands down

    God damn, that sounded good! Lorenzo has his own unique sound and would fit VR perfectly, I hope they hire him. This song had me doing dance moves all over the place as I was sitting by the computer with my headphones on listening to it. :)

    Lorenzo has a good voice that fits VR’s music. Axl wouldnt be good enough for VR but Scott should of stayed. I hope Lorenzo gets chosen and then Velvet Revolver will be in concert in Australia and all other countries!GO VELVET REVOLVER!
