    I have always told …
I have always told people and they look strangely at me when I tell them that Jim Reeves knew that is death was imminent. He sung songs such as “I’ll fly away”, “Distant Drums”, which tells that he knew he was going. Today, some 45 years after his death, Jim’s music will ALWAYS live on, no matter if it is 5000 years from now. Jim’s music is inspiring, up-lifting, devotional and reflective, just as he would have wanted it. R.I.P. Jim.

Thank you for posting and keeping our memories alive.
“Bimbo” was my first song to remember Jim by, and remember the announcement on KIMN radio in Denver Colorado that he had died. How we cried. (I didn’t intend that to rhyme).

But we lost the greatest voice played on our dance floors and radios which brings memories of our sweethearts.

What a voice, what a legacy. We cannot thank you enough for all your postings!
