Quilting with Singer Featherweight 221K
March 9th, 2010 | by admin |
Me working on the Front panel of my pillow. Sewing in the ditch and across all the little squares. It’s very time consuming, but the walking foot I bought from www.April1930s.com is making the job much more enjoyable and easy. Their store has an aftermarket walking foot made for the featherweight. It is excellent and I highly recommend it. The feed dogs line up perfectly with the walking foot. Very even feed and smooth for forward and reverse. Will do the free motion in the off white background around the flowers and sides of the pillow next. The zig-zag stitch around the flowers was done on a Pfaff 1222e. I have to practice a lot with my zig zagger attachment on my featherweight before I try using it for applique on real projects.
