I have a Singer Featherweight 221. The lower bobbin keeps tangling. What is the proper loading for it?

I have tried loading it but the thread keeps tangling on the arm that reaches up to the underside of the table area any help.

You may have the tension too tight on the bobbin. Try loosening the little screw next to the finger on the bobbin. You wont have to move the screw very much. The bobbin tension needs to be adjusted for different types of thread.
