Help I need a Singer Sewing Machine model #4562 owners manual?
February 5th, 2010I inherited a singer sewing machine #4562 from my grandma. I have an idea of how to use a sewing machine, but surprise surprise! It ain’t that easy. I figured thread it put your material in it and sew away. Evidently there’s more to it than that! Can anyone send me a PDF or point me to a web site with free PDF Downloads?

Be sure the presser foot is in the up position when threading – this is a very important step to insure proper thread tension.

singer sewing machine 7462, how to sew button hole?
February 3rd, 2010i just bought a singer sewing machine 7462, there is a computerized one step button hole setting, but when i switch to button hole and trying to sew, the sewing machine making " be be" sound, not allow me to sew, why??
you might have a little lever up kinda behind the needle. If you do its white and says BH on it. Pull that down and try that. Hope it works. I have a singer quantum embroidery machine and that is how I do mine.

thread around the top tension button? Whatever I do, the thread
tightens and tightens until it breaks. Any ideas?

How to put second (top) needle in Singer overlock?
February 3rd, 2010I have 5 tread Singer ultralock machine and no manual. I was using only 3 tread stitches, but now need all five. The trouble is I could not find a hole to put the second top needle in. I turned machine over but no success. Will appreciate pictures (big ones) or professional advise. Thank you.
Get the manual — http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html — and follow the threading diagrams, as well as the needle placement. The threading does change between 3 and 5 thread on most machines (there’s an additional looper); I doubt you’ll be successful without the manual.
As far as finding the holes for the needles — look for the needleclamp screws. They’ll point towards the needle position from the side.
How do you find out what singers next single will be?
February 3rd, 2010I am wanting to know what a singers next single will be and when it will be released. Is there a way to find that information out? I googled the singers name and the words next single, but it didnt bring anything up. Anyone know?

What is the value of these items: Large Church bell, Chopper axe, and Singer sewing machine?
February 3rd, 2010I just bought a 16 inch bottom church bell with the number 2 only showing, and a chopper axe number 1, and a 1920 singer sewing machine with the large case, attatchments, and manual with the serial number g-9627…., does anyone have an idea of what the value of these items are? Thanx
Your local value of these items might be different than the value of these in my location. Any items such as those you have listed depend on availability and desire. The church bell I don’t want to even guess on a value..not sure, but the 2 is the size of the bell. The axe might fetch you $20 around here because everyone has these laying around or being used in our area and usually the handle is worth more than the head of it. The sewing machine will sell in my area from $25-50 depending on the shape it is in (I am guessing it is the electric one with a rounded wooden case). These too are very plentiful in my area, keeping the value down.
Looking for a rock song from 2005. Part of it the singer went on a long ‘rant’ without taking a breath. Ideas?
